My computer came stock with an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200. i%26#039;m planning on upgrading to an E8500. how big of a performance difference will there be? is it worth the upgrade? thanks|||actually, it won%26#039;t get you anything at all.
you can achieve the E8500 clock speeds on the E7200 just by upping the FSB to 1333 Mhz, provided your motherboard supports it.
i%26#039;m an AMD guy though, so I%26#039;ll recommend that over Intel anyday.
