How do you change the processor on a laptop?

I have an Hp Pavilion laptop with an AMD 64 3200 processor I want to change it to a Pentium or Centrino. Is this possible?|||Most, if not all, laptops have their CPU solder onto the motherboard, and can not be removed or swapped out. Your only choice is to buy a new laptop.

Also the socket for an AMD cpu is completely different from that of a Intel CPU.|||You can%26#039;t change the cpu manualy. You need to take it to a computer shop that%26#039;s if the processor can be changed.|||your, and every computer is built the way it is for a reason. all of the components are designed to work together. changing a key item like the cpu can be fatal. besides it would be more cost effective to just get a new laptop configured the way u want it
