Hi, you can re-install onto the same PC as many times as you wish. However, if you change the motherboard then this will be seen as a different PC and you will then need to check your licence (should be on the packaging) to check if your copy of XP is for more than one PC. If it is for only one PC then you will need to contact MIcrosoft Customer Services and explain the situation so that they can give you a new licence key to use.
