How do I disable Intel's speedstep feature?

I have a net-book and while I was running CPU-Z I noticed that my processor changes speeds (ex. 1596.1MHZ to 798.16MHZ). I also noticed this same thing while watching the iTunes visualizer; sometimes the CPU renders the visualizer at 30fps and sometimes it is slower. I would like to disable this because I leave my computer plugged in all the time so I don't need to conserve energy.

When you are turning on the computer, hit the DELETE key and you'll enter the BIOS menu. The speedstep feature can be disabled there. Just remember that if you ever take your laptop with you, the battery life will now be shortened.
