MY FRIENDS COMPUTER QUESTION?

my friend got his computer in 2006 and it came with a p4 in it. his mobo has an LGA 775 socket and it has 4 slots for ram. my question is (if it is possible) would he be able to change his processor? and how would the ram work cuz the p4 takes ddr5 ram and most processors now take ddr2. so how would this work? and what would be the max amount of ram he could put? (i was told around 4 gbs cuz the slots on his pc could only tolerate 1 gb per slot) thanks

mail me if u have any questions or if u dont understand something
MY FRIENDS COMPUTER QUESTION?
You will have to look up the motherboards requirements from the manufacturer. You SHOULD be able to upgrade the processor, but you may not be able to put something like a quad-core in it. Same thing will the RAM check with the manufacturer.
