Clean your Registry can make your computer faster

Microsoft Registry Problems = Slow Computer!

The Windows registry, Containing information and settings for all the hardware, software, users, and preferences of your computer, whenever you make a change to the Control Panel settings, file associations, system policies, or installed software, the changes are reflected and stored in the registry.

When the Windows registry becomes very large, your computer鈥檚 can become very slow and it can cause it to be unstable.

How to make my pc run faster?
Step 1

First you must get to a command prompt. To do this, you click on the %26quot;start%26quot; menu, and then click %26quot;Run%26quot;.

Step 2

Clicking %26quot;Run%26quot; will bring up a small window with a field where you will type %26quot;cmd%26quot; (without the quotations) This will bring up a little black window with a blinking cursor. This black screen is a %26quot;command prompt%26quot;.

Step 3

Next, you type:

chkdsk /f /r /x c:

exactly how you see it here spaces and all.

Step 4

next your computer will probably give you a message back saying something about the system volume currently being used and do you want to run the chkdsk at the next system startup. you type %26quot;y%26quot; for yes and then close the window and restart your computer. Your computer will then run the check disk.

Step 5

what this does is run a check disk scan on your C drive for errors and then fixes them. Feel free to replace the %26quot;c:%26quot; with any other drive you want scanned for errors such as your D drive. example: chkdsk /f /r /x d:

Step 6

For best results, defragment your drive after running the chkdsk.

There's actually an easier way you can speed up your PC without upgrades. Inside your PC, there is actually a database known as the 'registry'. This database is critical for the smooth operation of your PC, and is contsantly being updated by Windows.

Unfortunately, over time, 100's of 'registry' files actually become corrupt, which slows your PC down. You don't notice it at first, but as more and more files break, it starts to get really slow. This problem is actually one of the biggest causes of a slow computer.

Luckily, you can easily fix it. You just need to use a registry cleaner such as RegCure. This will search through the registry and clean up all the bad files for you. You can check out what RegCure does at this site: http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/regcure鈥?/a>
Clean windows registry can speed up the computer.

Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software's, install new devices,

download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system.

This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched.

Once in a while, you have to check and remove files that are no longer in use to maintain the speed of your PC.

Clean registry make pc faster.
